</tbody></table>Ah, yes another Boston Trinidad Carnival season has come to an end and now the analysis begins.Did anyone see or experience any changes in the planned events by the organizing committee that can be interpreted as a positive change or improvements in Boston's Trinidad style Carnival? <div><br /></div><div>I certainly did not, as in the past most of the planned events were poorly attended, however Kiddies carnival this year had a very large turn out about 1000 people attended the event and Jouvert had a significant increase, I estimated about 10,000 people out there. </div><div><br /></div><div>Overall I think the events went very well, prior to the pending storm situation. I taught we would of had a very large turnout. </div><div><br /></div><div>There were a lot of buzz generated by the promoters, local community radio DJ and <a href="http://www.bostoncarnivalvillage.com/">Boston Carnival Village</a> which I believe contributed significantly to the up tic in public awareness of the events. </div><div><br /></div><div>Michael C. He created the foundation - That is he purchased and cleared the land moved the soil and began to build the foundation which is Boston Carnival.<br /><div><br /></div><div>Today, however that foundation is over run by bush, shrub and is crumbling. What then can we do to reverse the deterioration and get Boston Carnival back on track for a better future and leave something for future generations to build on? </div><div><br /></div><div>I believe in order to reverse this deterioration, the current organizing committee should be replaced by a group of individuals that understand the culture, community and the importance of Boston Carnival in the community.
